Yes, the beauty of Bass Lake Escape is that it has direct access to two lakes! You will have direct access to Bass Lake that then connects to Lake Michigan via the Bass Lake outlet.

How is the fishing on Bass Lake?

It is a fishing paradise! You will see largemouth bass, sunfish, crappie, bluegill, and perch straight from your dock and then search the weed beds for pike and other large fish.

Does Bass Lake Escape have Internet?

Yes, we provide the highest quality Internet with speeds of 1GB, provided by Spectrum Cable.

Do you provide coffee?

Yes, we have a Keurig machine along with a drip coffee pot, along with Keurig pods, single serve packets, and creamer. We highly recommend Green Isaac’s Coffee & Tea in downtown Pentwater, Michigan.

What is the television situation?

  • Living Room- Make sure Input is on HDMI1- Stream Box xumo (you will have limited live channels plus ability to use your app subscriptions)

  • Primary Bedroom- Login in via your selected app or television service

  • Secondary Bedroom- Bring your own device, as it is not currently a smart TV

Do you have a grill?

Yes, there is a Blackstone grill ready for your breakfast and cookout feasts! Please visit https://blackstoneproducts.com for recipes, cleaning instructions, and other tips for grilling use.

Please spray/oil the surface prior to using

  • After use, clean with water and scrape off residue

  • Finish with spray/oil when clean

  • Please ensure the drip tray does not overflow (let contents cool/solidify and place in trash bag- please do not dispose in drains)

What do we do with trash?

All trash can be disposed at Ludington Waste, which is a garbage dump located at 6414 S. Lakeshore Dr. Pentwater, Michigan 49449

How many people can sleep at Bass Lake Escape?

The cottage comfortably sleeps 9. With a king bed, double queen bunk with another queen and twin, there are multiple options available.

What if propane tank is empty?

The Wishing Well EZ Mart is a convenience store and gas station that has tanks readily available. It is conveniently down the road at 9850 N BUS US-31 in Pentwater, Michigan 49449.
